A Friday Five I actually kinda like answering.

1. Where do you currently work?

User Services and Instructional Technology @ The College of Wooster

2. How many other jobs have you had and where?

Well, let's see:

Alliance Data Systems in Columbus Ohio: Analyst, Collection Services, and Accounts management.
TicketBastard in Columbus Ohio: QA and selling, well...tickets.
Lab assistant and web designer for Westerville City Schools
McDonald's Fry Cook.
Christmas Tree Salesman

3. What do you like best about your job?

I get to help people, I get to solve problems, and I get to work with technology I could normally never afford.
Plus, I work with some truly awesome people.

4. What do you like least about your job?

Restocking paper for the labs. Those boxes are -heavy-! And I have to carry them -everywhere-.

5. What is your dream job?

Mmm....I can't honestly say? Maybe a mix of professional history, watching anime, playing with toys, and messing around on the computer for money?

Paper in computer labs

... we'd have paper delivered by campus mail staffers from the warehouse about every other day.

At one point while I was working at IPFW, we would get about 22 cases of paper for the Neff Hall labs (2 open labs, 3 teaching labs, 18 dual tray laser printers total.)

Paper and toner inventory was the bane of my existence.

Ohh, yes.

Even better (if less physically strenuous) was a period where our print job reporting software went on the fritz, so I had to visit every printer on campus daily to get page counts. I don't know about Witt's layout for printing, but for Wooster, that is a -lot- of walking, and a lot of offices I had to barge into.
