The BBQ-gy went well, despite storms which attempted to rack and ruin all that lay before them.

City BBQ so good. Stomach so small. But, it lead to an interesting idea between Dave, Alex, and I.

You see, City BBQ does some very impressive catering. Including an entire Hog for $350.

Now, let's say we threw a nice big 4th of July party. Required some money up front from people to RSVP. Got the whole hawg. Or a similar amount of diverse and heavenly meat products, sides, and fixins.

Sounds pretty good, doesn't it?

DOESN'T IT?

So, yeah. We might do that.

In other news, I was told by my (unofficial) team lead today that I've got a job at Sterling for as long as I want, as far as he and my supervisor are concerned. He thinks I'm doing an incredible job and is going to reccomend to Heidi that they try to accelerate buying out my contract from APT and making me a full Sterling employee.

Neat, huh?

Whole Hawg, or the (somewhat less expensive) selection of an ungodly amount of various meats?

Whatever most people go with.

My inclination is toward a ponderous variety of meats; As I was telling the others last night, the great thing about City BBQ is that you can turn down two kinds of meat and still have several great ones to choose from. :-)

And we'd be able to charge less.

Hell, for the one package, I might even consider just eating the cost. (Puns aside.)

I'll send ya a nice set of silverware when you get hired.

Dyar har har har. The wench grows bold, it would seem. But puns aside, silverware is always good.
