Rollin' Rollin' Rollin' YEAH!
Had lunch with my APT guy, Tony. Some extremely good feedback, discussion about the office, some reassurance that I have no worries about a job ("If Sterling exploded tomorrow, you'd be working somewhere else by Friday. You've shown you're too good to lose!"), and in general a pleasant meal.
The best part, though, was on the way out. He asked if there was anything I'd had on my mind, and I jokingly mentioned the email sent by a user to APT mentioning I should get a raise. Tony smiled.
"I was wondering when you'd ask about that...I can't tell you exactly when, but you should look for that to be going up sometime pretty soon...before the end of the summer, I'd say."
As you can imagine, I'm back to work with a bit of a spring in my step. I think that mid-August would be about 3 months here (where does the time go?), so I'd imagine that's around when I'll get it.
