I thought this was the perfect nerf gun.

I was wrong.

That's when I reach for my revolver....

Ah, that is HOT. I'd want to get it or repaint one myself, but I keep remembering the horror story of some kid with a black nerf that got shot and killed by some police officer that was an idiot.

A good reason to A) only use it at conventions and B) keep the safety cap on or paint the tip with blaze orange.

Oh man, it's too hot to only use at comventions. Maybe 'only use inside the safety of one's house'. And I don't think the blaze orange tip would help much, as the police officer that shot the kid was at a far enough distance that he wouldn't have seen something like that.

I don't know the internal workings of a nerfgun, or the screwtypes to take it apart. How easy do you think it would be to buy the gun and dismantle it for spraying?

Last time I took apart a nerf gun (and fixed it, dammit!) was back with my old Arrowstorm - it used phillips heads. Beyond that, I've no idea how complex the mechanism is on this.

It was a lot neater looking before I found out it was just a repaint, psht!

Repaints need love, too!

That Visa commercial is a better use of Marvel material than *nearly* anything else I've seen these last few years.

Underdog, yes. But the whiny, nasal, balls-haven't-dropped yet voice they used for Spidey? FAIL.

See, I thought that kind of quality was particular to Spider Man. At least, that's what I gather from watching the movies, where I was sort-of-rooting for the villians to slap him from here to there.

Spider-Man should have a vibrant, occasionally snarky baritone.

Oh - get over here at some point so I can shoot you with nerf.
