Well, got Hellsing #8 and Crooked Little Vein in the mail, despite the best efforts of the rainpocalypse.

Had some stealth Thai for dinner, watched a little football (Chicago? Start praying to god right now, because that's the only thing who can save you.)

Bad news, though, is that I seem to be having a mild allergic reaction to something or other - sneezing yesterday, pretty itchy topical rash today. Bendaryl and calamine lotion have been employed, but ow.

quoniam_23 was down this weekend to check things out and chill prior to starting at OSU grad, and we kept joking when I sneezed that I was actually allergic to -him-. Maybe we were more right than we realized!

Got OD calls at 3, 4, 5 in the morning on Saturday and Sunday, so with luck tonight will finally be uninterrupted rest.

Jen teases me about having "Grossman rage". I'm not really a sports person, but his incompetence causes me to yell at the screen, kick my feet, and gesticulate wildly.

Mwhahaha? Or something. I haven't actually read it yet. Too busy chewing through Hellsing and the new Tactical Readout 3050 edition for Battletech. (They totally changed things. Again. Dammit. What the hell are plasma cannons and HAGs? And why doesn't the lovely King Crab get to have the painfully doomy paired AC/20s anymore? It's a harsh thing.)

One of the local "Chinese" places is actually run by a Thai family. The Chinese dishes are OK, but the Thai dishes are amazingly good. And you wouldn't have any idea unless you went in and tried them, because there's no indication at all about it, aside from word of mouth.

Hence, the stealth Thai.
