Just got a call from the bank.

Well.
We're in contract, and we're doing the home inspection Friday morning.
Financing paperwork that was waiting for the finalized contract is being sent in the morning, and all the money we needed to put down on various things prior to closing has been shelled out.

Aug. 23rd, 2006 08:51 pmWell, that's 24 hours or so since we formally faxed the offer documents to their Agent, and no word yet.
Oddly enough, that makes me feel a little better - they're taking the time to seriously think about it, and not making a snap "Yes!" or "NO!" reaction. (Not that I will complain if they say yes! But I respect not shooting from the hip on something like this.)
Harvey's guessing we'd hear back within 48 hours, so with any luck we'll hear from them tomorrow.
Other than that, I think we all just felt wiped out today, not helped by my having to go back into work to fix an issue with one of the projects I've been working on.
Ah, well. Night!
