Aug. 10th, 2002 12:50 pmYeah....okay.
So, it appears that Isa is home. When asked about how Italy went, all she would say was "I am tired, and I am loved."
And then she started IMing *HUG!* to me for about 2 minutes straight.
Having made my resolution to not get yanked around by her like this, I proceeded to gently give her the news that I'd met someone, (ie:
skarlette, who is far more to me than just "someone", but I'm trying to be nice to Isa, for the moment.) I told her things were going very, very well, and that I figured I should tell her before someone else blurted it out to her. (Unlike how she went behind my back while stringing me along....in hindsight, I put up with far too much abuse.)
"Isa: So you have things in common. Congrats. I hope it works out for you."
I could -hear- the temprature of the conversation drop several degrees, and perhaps teeth grinding.
I'm kinda filled with shadenfreude at the moment. I know it's not entirely good for me, but I am.
All the boxes, save packing the computer and the game machines, are done. Oh, and the stuff in the dresser. But my grandparents needed to do something before coming around, so I wait on those, for I have earned it.
