If I could eat nothing but eel all day long... well, I'd die of malnutrition eventually, but it'd take me a really long time to get tired of it. There is an all-you-can-eat sushi buffet I took Phil to in Portland where I had a meal almost entirely consisting of eel.

Which is to say: I am glad you don't like eel. It leaves more for me. Also, you've eaten a much wider variety of foods than I have.

Hm. I dunno - the stuff I had was really gummy and almost greasy, with a really too sweet sauce.

It's entirely possible I just had a badly prepared one, but I'm happy to let you have it. :D

Some of the diversity comes from my parents - they like to explore lots of different foods either at home or in restaurants, and from my own love of trying new places as much as I can.

I took my little vegetarian ass over to Wikipedia to find out what head cheese is and I must say, it has a very misleading name.

I would do this, but I don't feel like going through a list of 100 things and changing the look of each word.
I think I've actually tried more things than you, though! ONE-upmanship!

Fresh haggis is quite tasty, like a white castle slyder without the bun!

Did you find it here in town, or out travelling? :D If there's a good place in town I would love to go.

In Glasgow, at the source :)

Mac's was rumored to have it, but I'm not sure if it was from a can. Either way, I would not have it there as their food is not very good.

Nice. :D

Yeah, when I go to Mac's, it's normally for the beer, not the food.

Soft shell crab is rockingly good, though -- just ask Gary, who's strange-food-phobic

Yeah, I've just never been a crab person.

I should have expected this, but somehow didn't.
