Sep. 2nd, 2008 10:33 pmBought our tickets for the pick-6 tonight! We're going to end up being in Section 212, row M, seats 5-8. I will admit that the physical seat isn't as comfy as down in the HD lounge, but it also costs $20 a game instead of $175 a game, and the view is VERY good. :)
The ticket guy also took us out onto the finished ice to walk around a bit. I got pictures of the JHM logo on the ice that I'll post to Flickr later. (Probably tomorrow - kinda bushed.)
We're also going to get hooked up for a pre-season game...or two....for free. :) I guess membership -does- have its' privileges.
After the tickets, we absconded to Boston Pizza (well, OK, in the US I guess they call it Boston's Pizza, but still), and had a VERY nice meal, including about half the servers in our section sitting down to have a bull session with us about the team's chances for the upcoming year. All in all, it gets me very pumped up for October. :)
Scott's hanging out at the house for a few days while he does department meetings at OSU, so we crashed back here and got him watching a bit of the first season of B5. All in all, not a bad day at all.
