There's a guy in the hall. little. Easily scared. Very insecure.
Asks me to come up to look at his computer because he's 'messed it up.'
I come up there.
He's dissassembled -everything-. Even pulled the power supply apart, and separated the processor from the motherboard. *shudder* (Did I mention this is a brand new, under warranty, Gateway?) Fortunately, he didn't try to pull apart the hard drive platters.
He apparently had a problem with his CD-ROM drive skipping during music tracks, and wanted to look at it. So he took the back plate off, and then pulled out everything that was in his way.
Yeah.
"Can you get this back together? I need to use it tonight. Like...in a half an hour."
"..............................."
I left him with the repair technican's #, instructions how to get to his office, and the note that he should, in fact, hope that Gateway doesn't ream his ass when John goes to order parts. I suspect he's voided the warranty in about 30 different ways.
I have a pounding headache, now.
And...shit. Someone IM'd me, and I tried to alt-tab, and accidentaly closed the window. Dammit. I missed who it was, too. D&D for a bit tonight...
God, my head hurts.
