Sep. 29th, 2002 02:21 pmDoing thesis reading today, already rewrote one paper right after getting up.
I should probably be doing more bibliographic work, too, but I want to finish reading at least two of these so I can do a fully annotated entry. Of course, I may put something together anyhow.
Hungry.
Playing RahXephon in the background, while Ben watches the Browns game. Grandparents called to see how I was. That's always good...may try to drive up and catch them later today before they leave for a trip tomorrow, but I need to finish some work. I'm not behind on anything yet, but that's not a game I want to start playing.
Song...that's something important, of late.
I used to be able to take a lot of strength and energy from music. Singing or listening. Fueled more than one magical act out of love and the rest. Then...over the past few years, I started losing that. Took more and more effort. Had to force things more than I should have, so I stopped.
Yesterday afternoon, I was reading and listening to some music....and I felt it again. Effortlessly. Not even conciously.
I really wonder if leaving chorus was more of a personal and spiritual cleansing than I'd suspected.
