First scream of the day:

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH.

Got an email from my advisor mentioning she push-pinned the last introduction chapter I sent her (with her feedback) to her door, and was going to email me about it when she saw that someone (she assumed me) had taken it.

Guess what. I didn't pick it up.

This means some FUCKHOLE decided that something with -my- name and I.S. title on it was obviously fair game. (That, or somehow they assumed it was one of their papers. Which I doubt.)

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH.

This is why I prefer staying in bed. Bed is warm. Bed is happy. [livejournal.com profile] skarlette is in bed. Why can't I be in bed?

wow.

I.S. is incredibly intense, yet deeply fulfulling. We got something like #1 in the nation for richest senior transition program not all that long ago.

For me, I love it, but it's incredibly challenging. I've been told that if I do well on I.S. (Which I WILL, dammit), that a Masters thesis is relatively easy.

We work hard. But it's hopefully gonna be worth it.

Of course, opinions vary on how significant this rating is, but them's the facts above.

See how closely -I- pay attention to the college in the news. :D

Heck, since you're a Wooster student, mind chucking your $.02 on I.S. in, Andy?

I think IS can be a deeply rewarding experience, that pays off very directly to what you put in. That said, I think it should have remained an optional experience for those who wanted (perhaps strongly encouraged, but not required). I think doing two is dumb dumb dumb ;) Career Services thinks IS is detrimental to succeeding in the job market, as people spend all their time ISing as opposed to getting a job. Still great for those going to grad school, but maybe not so hot for me (even though I expect to be very proud of my English one).

Hey, nobody made you do two. :>

Even so, yeah...it would be kinda nice if it was optional. And I can even see the job market argument, at least for the Bachelor of Arts degress. For Buisness Econ or some of the sciences, I could see I.S. actually being a marketing point, depending on the project. Especially if you did it to interact -with- a buisness.

On the other hand, what the hell. It's been fun.
