Well, that was odd...

Parents and I started talking about the car I want to get. (Rio Cinco wagon, Manual trans.)

Then they said: "Well, have you sat in one yet?"

I had to admit that I hadn't, yet. But, based on the statistics I've read, it's slightly larger than [livejournal.com profile] sk4p's car in terms of driver room, and I can drive an Echo quite comfortably.

Then they said: "Well, we'll go with you to the Kia dealership, and if it seems a little small, we've decided that if you're going to buy a Kia, the next car we'd like you to look at is the Sportage. And we'll help make up the extra cost on the lease payments."

So...if the car I want doesn't work out, you want me to get the biggest damn thing they make? Cool. I suppose if that happens I'll try to get one with all the neato options, too, if they're really talking about covering the difference. (It'd only be like...an extra $50 a month, anyhow.

Probably going down the weekend of 5/17 to shop the cars, with the goal of taking it off the lot that day, or when I go back on 6/7 for my sisters graduation.

Also decided that I do want to go to BotCon, and I shall try to drag [livejournal.com profile] sk4p and anyone else who wants to share a room with. Unfortunately, the nearest hotels with decent rates are all 4 miles from the Con, -but-, if we leave from Wooster, it's a straight shot up US 30 to Ft. Wayne, about a 4 hour drive. Not too shabby at all.

Even though Steve and Noelle never showed up to go to movies and dinner yesterday like they called saying they wanted to on Thurs, it's still been a pretty good weekend.
