*facepalm*

So I was originally supposed to shift rooms next weekend, starting Friday, the 16th or so.

Now I'm apparently supposed to be fully occupying my new room by Monday, the 12th. And they won't tell me when I can get my room key so I can actually, y'know, move in.

I like moving early. It means I wil be able to get set up with a bit less hassle in general. But guys, can't we be a touch more realistic? I'm hoping they'll at least allow me to get my key on the 10th, so I have the whole weekend to move, but I'm not optimistic. I have a feeling I'm going to end up needing to take the 12th off of work to get it done.

Side note: The former Moving/Roomwarming party on the 17th/18th is still on. It's just now a purely Roomwarming party, I suppose. But, since my roommate doesn't arrive until the following weekend, I'm still willing to house people overnight if needed.

Yeah, that's about right...

Work is being better than I expected in some ways, worse in others. However, I wish they'd stop shuffling "high priority jobs which must be done!" jobs with other ones of similar importance, and telling me to do all of them at once...
