True.
Got a large chunk of moolah out of SGA for the history club. $450. Not bad at all.

Sep. 26th, 2002 05:12 pmNormally....I'm not much for chain letters...but a friend had this one in her journal...and some of it came out to me.
1. I love you not because of who you are, but because of who I am when I am with you.
4. A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart.
9. Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet the person, we will know how to be grateful.
Each meant quite a bit. The third....the third especially.
And I am very grateful for us finding each other, my love.

Sep. 26th, 2002 06:25 pmGot the last issue of Transmetropolitan today, which is interesting, because it's a series that, since about the 3rd storyarc of it's five year run, has parallelled much of my college career. Even more, it's intrinsically tied to Wooster for me because not only did Phil introduce me to it, but it's a series that a lot of my friends at Wooster read.
It's sad, yet fitting, that the story finally came to a close as we work on closing our college time.
The last story itself?
Beautiful. Beautiful, and totally appropriate.
I'm gonna call Phil when he gets back from dinner and see if he wants to read it.
Phil's interesting. Our friendship's been damn mercurial. It was said at one point that I was one of the only people who could room with him without killing someone, yet we operate far better as friends when not forced to share the same 12'x12'x12' space. Strange things.
