WINGS!

Almost forgot! The wings arrived today! And they look -good!- Even if they did send me white instead of black. But that's not so bad. :D

And I finally found one of the electronic Dooku lightsabres! With sounds!

Side note: On the subject of wings. I think I finally figured out why I like buffalo wings so much. Not just the incredible variety of sauces you can get, but the sensation of ripping through the meat. Of the bone twisting under my teeth. Of the visceral sensations.

The chance to let the beast out for a bit, on something that it's totally acceptible to shred.

Yay for safety valves.

Side note: Also a -big- yay for kinky sex.

I was kinda nervous going into my thesis meeting given how much I'd (not) gotten done, particularly the relatively small introduction. (There's probably gonna be at least another 5-7 pages, minimum.) But Karen was -very- cool.

"Look, Matt. You're doing good work, you're at least 3 weeks to a month ahead of all my other I.S. students, and you've got a fairly coherent plan with how you want to write. Don't stress out because you took a week off, deliberately or not."

The rest of today is going fairly well. D&D tonight.
