Nov. 29th, 2002 12:05 pmSo dad and I got up at 6am to get to circuit city during their "Oh, why the fuck are you awake" sales.
Me: "This one's good. It does everything my old DVD player did and is only $70."
Dad: "Naah."
Me: "This one's good. It has a year long warranty and is only $80."
Dad: "Naah."
Me: "...this one's the new sony Psyc thing that's portable and comes with a year warranty, color swatches for the disc cover, and is $129."
Dad: "Bingo."
Me: "But it's twice as much as the others."
Dad: "But it will last. And besides, if we buy you this one, it's an excuse so your mother will let me buy one of the DVD/VCR combo thingies after I get my tax return."
Thanks, dad. :D
We drive home to Columbus in about an hour, and then I get to help dad put together their new computer, and test out this thing to make sure it works.
Should be a good day.

skarlette, Mom and Dad were shown your picture as requested. :D Mom thinks that you're very pretty, and Dad's observation was that you appeared to be at the right height for me to kiss you without making an ass of myself.
