After we got done with classes, Ben asked me if I'd mind giving him a ride to do some shopping. Since I wanted to put the car payment in the mail anyhow, I did.
We hit:
2 computer stores.
Wal-mart
Staples
Sam Goody
Ben bought:
RAM for his iMac
A game that I missed the title on
CD-Rs
The new phish CD
Presents for his Secret Snowflake.
I bought:
Extra AA batteries for the GBA and the TV remote for $3.
I am proud of my restraint!
(Though I will admit I was -deeply- tempted to snag Metroid Fusion. But I resisted! I might need the cash, and I might get Fusion for christmas if I'm lucky.)

Ben got an offer to move into another housing program, which he'd been on and off considering anyhow, so...neat. Potential double-single for me. Would be a nice way to ride out the year. He's not accepted yet (I don't think...) but he was nice enough to let me know so it's not gonna be a surprise.
Going to a party tomorrow hosted by my advisor with some other history people, going up to FuncoLand in an attempt to increase cash flow on Saturday, then going shopping for digital cameras with Grandpa (Dad's X-mas present) and then over to somewhere for dinner. Also picking up my exam care package sometime Saturday morning.
Sunday will be working on take-home exam, and whatever else.
Oh. Did I mention the leather jacket here?
I think my new jacket is a semi-apology from dad for what happened the last couple days I was home. It's a really nice black leather jacket he bought before they started the diet, and it's too big for him now. (Way too big. It's actually a bit large on me, too.) He gave it to me and said to enjoy it. Neato, huh?
Classes (except exams) end tomorrow. Kinda amazing...only 1 semester left.
