One final update, then sleep.

While working on the taxes, I tried to call my parents to mention I'd seen Granda and he said Hi, and to tell them, no, it's been a really long week and I really do not want to come down to sing in the 'farewell' service for the priest at a church I do not attend, in a city I don't live it, just because you people don't have a choir and you seem to think this means promising my attendance is OK.

I had to leave a message. But they've yet to call and Explodinate at me, so perhaps they'll accept that sometime I say no and I really do stick to no.

That'd be nice.

One nice thing from last night that I really didn't write about was that I got back into MUSHing a bit, after taking time off due to not really feeling the urge or the interest. And while some of it was a bit tepid (XME, particularly, but at least we were trying), M3 and BoC were a hell of a lot of fun, and while I try not to be a combat-whore, getting back into some huge battles with Blues and a rather fun duel with Inferno really spiced my night up.

Plus, I got to call Dr. Wily 'Uncle Touchy'. Heh.

It's been a busy but productive day here at work, and I'm hoping that if I get very lucky, I might hear back from e.d.p. about the Highlights job today.

Well, I just learned about Medex. They filled the position last week...and part of why the guy at the other recruiting place is no longer working at that recruiter is that he apparently botched something pretty bad in dealing with Medex, which is why I never heard more.

So, a clear slate for Highlights. Though I was told they'd have a position at Medex opening late March/April. We'll see. If they give me a call, I'll listen.

In the meantime, I demand soup.

Well, after a later night at work than I wanted, I got to have a decent dinner at Lowry with excellent conversation, good news, a bunch of music from when I was in High School, and come home to talk to Lisa for almost an hour.

However, I do need to point one thing out.
