Good things: Housesitting for the cats.
A day out.
Seeing friends and getting A&W rootbeer from the tap
Spending quite a lot of time with skarlette

Bad things: Fell and wrenched my leg.
Owfuckinghellmyleg.
Bruises the size of a pear on my knee.

Oh, well. I'll manage. Just a bit tender, and it's slowing me down some.

Hmm. Where to start?

House-sat at my parents for most of the day. We're going back tomorrow after work for a decent bit of the evening. Doing laundry, spending time with the cats, etx. The leg's doing better, but still a bit tender and sore. Once we got home, we decided to clean the house fairly heavily, including vaccuming from top to bottom, cleaning the oven and its' burners, and re-organizing the downstairs a bit.

We had anti-Mexican (Taco Bell) for dinner because we had a coupon for free food in fairly heavy amounts, and we got to sample their new Empanadas (deep fried hostess fruit pie, anyone), and the new lime Mountain Dew.

It was really nice to spend time with the kitties, even if Poppy slept a lot and Princess didn't want to leave Patches.

Speaking of Patches, she's walking now, if a bit shakily, and holding her head up comfortably. She's terribly cute, as well, with that newborn sort of awkwardness that is so endearing. I have a feeling that when she is old enough to come home, you guys are going to get a bunch of pictures and posts about the cat, because she's going to steal our hearts. :D
