So.
With the gift certificate, I got:
Metroid Fusion
MW4: Mercenaries
The new Harry Turtledove book
In physicality I got:
The Complete Works of Shakespeare
All 4 Harry Potter books
Spaceship lava lamp
Clothes
Fellowship of the Ring Extended Edition DVD set. (WOOT!)
2 books on tracking anmals (Dad wants me to go outside)
Car lamp
365 days of stupid quotes. (That's the name of the calendar. I'm not kidding.)

And...a little wooden plate.
Why is the plate important? Because my mom's biological mother (deceased), carved, lacquered, and painted it a year before her death.
I'm actually quite touched.
Oh. And I also got $175 to spend in cash, but I suspect I will save that for Chicago, mostly. (Okay, so I think I may go out and get Unreal Tournament 2k3...)
Not bad at all, really. And people were happy, and my dad actually blushed and apologized -again- when he got to the camera.
Christmas miracles, indeed. (And hey, my Aunt didn't ever show up, which is a present in itself...)
So. Now we cook dinner.
