bzarcherI worked in Lowry Center most of the later afternoon. I didn't expect to come face to face with ultimate temptation. I worked until 5, so I just popped into the truck stop to get some stuff to heat up rather than go to a full dinner, because I just wanted to get home and unwind. So I got some vegetarian Just Add Water chili (quite good!), some chips, some coke, and then I made the mistake of passing the freezer...
It stood there. Waiting. Looking for me.
Ben and Jerry's Brownie Batter
Brownie. Batter.
Brownie. Freaking. Batter. Ice. Cream. It looked at me, and I heard it call to me in the same voice that Galadriel uses when Frodo's offering her the ring.
All Shall Love Me And Despair....
I bought it. Couldn't resist that dark power. But I was able to put it in my freezer....
I can feel it looking at me from the freezer.
I don't know if I will be able to hold out until later tonight.
Pray for me. I must be strong.
