bzarcherHere's the one B12.net character I've actually taken the most liking to...perhaps because except for the ex-girlfriend part, I'm remarkably similar. (Heh.)
Though, there's also some really interesting subplots, such as the student Alex, who was given an education scholarship on the mistake that she was a male student, and is forced to crossdress in order to pass as a man and keep the only way she was able to get to College. It's an interesting idea, particularly the notion that women can't get by on skill alone in some fields, because they've become so gender saturated.
(Plus, I admit, I'm getting fascinated with the psychology and history of 'passing' women. Next time I kick in the doors of serious academics, I think I may have to do at least a few papers on it. Or a book. It'd probably be easier to get grants to do a book on that than the revisionist history in Japanese animation and art...well, hmm. Maybe 50/50, but I'll probably play with both topics.)
A pity he seems to be so damned scatterbrained about plots and updates...and I wish it was regularly in color....
