As I mentioned to Ard, if people are using the new iTunes for Windows semi-regularly/heavily, can I get some impressions, thoughts, reviews in a few days to a week?

I'm curious, but...

Early impressions

I am unlikely to be using it heavily on Windows, but I put it on the old Windows XP box I have sitting around here and played with it for a while.

It works just like it does on the Mac. Which means that finding MP3s is really fast and efficient, and playlists are awesome.

If you let it self-organize your MP3 files (there is an option in the preferences), it will rearrange them into a million different folders for its convenience. This may make you go nuts if you like to browse MP3s from Explorer windows.

It is also not exactly the fastest-loading MP3 player out there. The visualizations run like molasses, especially compared to the Winamp 2.x plugins I used to use. I never use those anymore, so I don't particularly worry about this.

I think you can also share music libraries back and forth between Windows and Mac clients. This would be great if you have an office MP3 pool everyone wants to use.

And if nothing else, I like it a whole lot more than Winamp version 3, which disappointed me after 2's awesomeness.
