bzarcherOkay, so remember when I said it that was probably the video card, and if not I was in trouble?
Yeah, I'm in trouble. A new power supply and video card later, still no good. Drives tested OK, just no video, no sound.
Motherboard, thy name is toasted.
So, my parents and I worked out that for early christmas, I'm getting either a new motherboard/proc/memory combo, or a cheap new computer. Going to sit down and shop here shortly.
In good news, got to hang out with the Gook, played a LARP to the bone (even if it was badly run and on a totally bullshit premise) to the point that I was the undisputed victor despite losing, OSU won, and most importantly,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
skarlette had a really good weekend at WindyCon and spent 2 hours on the phone with me afterwards. :>
Okay, so I'm also taking a small ego boost at how much we missed each other, and that stuff constantly reminded her of me...it's strange, but missing her is a little bit easier when I know she misses me just as much.
Anyhow. Back to work and shopping.
