We're improving. Getting data off the 20 gig drive (about 5 gigs to backup, 75% complete over the network.)
Next step: FDISK the 20 gig to clear off the drive (I'd forgotten it's FAT32, which appears to be what made the motherboard hate it), format to NTFS, install windows, patch, restore data, and reinstall Office and Groupwise, hopefully before family arrives. Also instal VSE 7.0.
If parents arrive before I can finish, leave it all in the office turned off (assuming backup is done), and then come back tomorrow to finish it after turkey.
Once I get it home, either way, spend Thursday night reinstalling games, SimpleMU, Opera, and etx. Hyperventilate for awhile and then sleep.
