Jan. 20th, 2004 11:53 amMy boss is a wonderful woman. She's given me a lot of help with my job search and been a good boss 90% of the time.
However, at the moment, I'm rather glad I'll be getting a new job soon. (I hope.)
You see, first I got it impressed on me how absolutely vital it was that I find some data from a project one of my officemates has been working on before lunch. Entirely, absolutely, she didn't want excuses vital.
But when it cannot be found, he's out of the office on a personal day, and I made the crime of calling his cell to leave him a voicemail just to ask "hey, where'd you put this?", I got called into her office (she'd overheard part of the phonecall), and dressed down about how calling him when he's out of the office is totally unacceptable and rude.
Oh, and it's my fault he doesn't have the data anywhere I can find it.
Yay.
