Nov. 23rd, 2004 08:51 pmWell, that's done.
Parents called. Spoke to them. They agreed that Alison's really been out of line. This is not what I agreed to help out with, and they're really not happy that she's been abusing my willingness to help.
My help will be going away, once they get home. At least for awhile.
Alison and I talked a bit when she noticed I was 'frustrated.' She agreed that this was 'Not how I planned to do things this week.' From how she said it, it sounds like she still intended NOT to stick to what we agreed to (I'd be picking her up right after I got off work, at one consistant place...) but that she didn't neccesarily intend delaying pickups and the pickup locations 2 or 3 times a night.
Hm.
Because I poured a good bit of said frustration into driving, we did about 80 the whole way back, and managed to get to the house before the ER closed. I consented to taking the cat up there, since she was still worried about Brando.
Guess what? It's allergies. She's not critical at all, or at risk. Totally stabilized and the eye even looks better.
Funny, that.
They arranged for Alison to come up and get Brando a cortisone shot tomorrow.
Bleah.
26 hours, 41 minutes.
I vacuumed the downstairs when I got home, then my room. Need to change my bedlinens.
I was originally (back before it all went to hell) planning to do something nice for Alison and take her out to dinner tomorrow before I went to meet Lisa's plane.
Right now, I may just come home, clean the house some more.
We'll see.
