I bet you thought I forgot about these...

But, I really didn't.
The Egos will continue so long as I have breath (or at least time to write at work!) and with those two urgent projects in bed and the other two nearly done, time is a luxury I can (sorta) afford again.
Whenever I think of
loopychew, I think of the Chu (do you actually like being called Lawrence? I can't remember) in Andrews Lounge. We'd been doing DDR games and tourneys most of the weekend, so the pads were all set to go.
I was reading, I think, when he came in. Fired it all up. I figured maybe I'd play some after he was done.
I watched him set up a 6 footer on double pads. Wicked difficulty.
He then proceeded to own it like a little schoogirl. The man was flying like a DDR tornado, and I think he only got 2 'goods' in the whole thing. The rest was a string of perfect and superb, with combos the size of a man's arm.
I think my images of him will always be tied to music and dancing like a manaic - two things that he's still quite passionate about.
We've mostly talked online since he left Wooster to go back to Europe, about Anime, gaming, music, girls, and worse, but we've been there for each other through a lot, and I feel I owe him quite a bit: He's had my back the whole time.
He's gone through a lot: Really, I think he's seen a worse "early to mid 20s" crucible than I, but he's finding the steps out, and I know he will make it on up to wherever he chooses to go: He has that sort of knack.
AMVs are also one of his hobbies, though we haven't seen them as much lately, and he's always done good work. (Plus, we share a love of RuroKen, so that never hurts for approving his work!) If you can find his older stuff, it's neat to check them out, and scares me to think I was actually around for the making of a few of them.
Really, though, the key to this man is music, and you can see it from every piece of his journal theme, to the lyrics and music he posts, and his own compositions. (I still have some of your work on my hard drive and in my playlists. Did you know that? If not, cool, I told you. :D) It's awesome sauce stuff, and I'm always interested to see what you've come up with next.
