GWUH. Cool things are coming out faster than I have money for them.

I was thinking of asking for the Tyranid Army box (with Codex and all the gribbly goodies) for Christmas, and I just found out it was a limited production deal - and nearly all of them are gone.

Damn! So much for an easy way to get into it.

Oh, well.

Ew. Nids. Zerg rushing and Carnifex Crunchies (aka Space Marines, the candy with a kick). Have fun... all I'll say is: Never again.

*grins* If nothing else, I can claim this is because my Dark Angels and Alex's Nuns With Guns are too similar on the battlefield, and the nids will make me learn to play something different. :D

I'll be lying out my teeth, but I can claim it.

Nids are a good counter to Marines, properly played. All those melee attacks add up quickly. Only problem is getting your troops close enough where tooth and claw matter. Still, with a good rush, two, three turns at most and a well-placed front wave can cross the board completely.

The new fleet of claw rules on gaunts and 'stealers will make that a difference, too. I suspect that if I played it right, I could have an assault rush by turn 2.

...dammit, I'm buying the codex next paycheck.
