But, I'm feeling much better now.
Nov. 24th, 2006 11:06 pmSo, after a very lovely Thanksgiving dinner, I did what all good Americans are supposed to, and fell asleep in front of the TV. From there, things went pretty well!
Lisa and I both got to sleep in, we had breakfast with my grandparents, and then all 4 of us went down to Bunker Hill furniture - they'd like to give us some stuff from there as a housewarming gift, so we looked, and we're waiting to find out some prices before we decide on either some more chairs for the basement, or perhaps a really nice glider chair that would be a rocking chair we could use without risking mauling a cat's tail. A nice wooden coffee mug rack is also tempting. Sadly, Mr. Goode was visiting family back in PA, and his son really didn't know enough about some of the un-marked product to price them, but that's fine. We had a nice time there, and I took some pictures of the gorgeous solid wood rocking horses that Mr. Goode makes.
Lisa and I drove home, stopping to eat lunch in Wooster, then after a bit of rest and putting away leftovers, we upheld a proud Thanksgiving tradition (all of, I think, 2 years old) by going to the Book Loft in German Village, and then to get cheap Mexican food for dinner.
Now, I am enjoying the awesomeness of "How It's Made" (Toothpicks, Bathtubs, Helicopters, and Beer!), and Mom and Dad are coming by tomorrow to finally see the house, which I'm looking forward to.
