New plans for Huntington park announced.

I love that they're pushing the "intimate" factor! And that clippers tickets will not be going up in price doesn't hurt, though I'll also give them props for setting the park up so that people can see the game from street level (and hopefully be encouraged to come in and sit down!)

It is at least closer to the Jake and I don't have to root for the other guys now that they aren't a Yankees franchise.

They might want to take a look at the Akron park, which is well liked.

I really, really like what they're going for here. I especially like that the seats are close along foul lines, which suits our purposes nicely.

Interestingly, the trend toward smaller parks in the majors applies here in the minor leagues.

I'm wondering what they have in mind for foul balls, since it's right along Nationwide.

Also, the ticket prices staying put surprised me. WOOOO-HOOOOOO, CHEAP SEATS. Boo-yah. I expect the food to cost a third more. ;)

We are so claiming the 3rd base line.

Or 1st base line.

Or the whole damn ballpark. Oh, yeah.

I'm really, really excited about this. I assume that foul balls will...um...probably be aimed out at the grassy park area that's going to be behind the outfield wall. Maybe?
