Writer's Block: In The Money

If you won $100 this afternoon, what would you do with it?

One of the guys at work asked me if I'd be interested in playing in rec league roller hockey. I'd need new skates, shin guards, elbows, and a helmet.

I know I can get Sherwood siz. 18 shin guards, some Bauer pads, and a new stick pretty easily with $100. I might even be able to hunt around for used skates.

Helmet's gonna be $50 by itself, minimum, but that'd be a pretty good start. :D

I would buy CDs. Sweet, sweet CDs. Or I'd blow it all on extremely cheap books. And I would be marvelously happy.

I still kinda want a Wii, but we're not playing the PS2 or 360 that much right now...though we did rock out on GHII: 80s for much of yesterday.

Well, having played Excitetruck all day....

Motion sensing is THE way to race on video games. Take's a little getting used to, but it's so much better than joysticks. Also having a game that your vehicle still has control in the air... and using the controller like people did when it didn't help... fun!

*grins* Yeah, I got to try Wii Sports over at my parents' place because one of my sister's friends is currently living with them, and she brought her Wii there. Baseball was a lot of fun.

I'm a huge fan of the boxing, once we got it figured out.

I didn't get to play as much of that, but I thought it was pretty fun.

Bowling was funny, just because my mom and dad got totally addicted to it - about half the time I've gone over since, if the Wii is turned on it's them playing Bowling.
