I may be corrupting Alex a bit.
After I won my auction for new skates (for cheeeeeeeap), he asked what was around in his size.
$5 later, we both have new inlines coming sometime in the next week or two.
If the spinal injections help his back, I think he's very interested in a no-contact league, and if we both start playing, well, it'll certainly give us reasons to get out and exercise, which seems an excellent plan.
Heck, even if he only feels up to skating around in the street and doing passing drills, it's all good.
