Edmonton seeks to model their new arena after Nationwide, Arena District.

That's really awesome. :D I love spending time in the AD and it's really nice to see that other cities are copying Columbus' direction. (Between Newark, some of the announced plans for Pittsburgh, and Edmonton, that makes 3 now, and I'd not be shocked if any other new arena construction follows too...)

While my affection for the Nassau Coliseum is great, they do kinda need to replace it. :(

*nods* And certainly it'd be better for them to build up an area with a lot of draw around it, rather than just putting it in the middle of nowhere (Hello, Meadowlands!)
