Mmm. Meal roulette.
Jul. 31st, 2002 06:52 pmSo I had some extra cash in my pocket thanks to the boss, and getting him his Starscream, and I didn't want to cook tonight, so I went for food.
The thing is, even though the office is going for lunch at the really good mexican place tomorrow, I had a craving.
So I went to the Taco Bell, or "Food Roulette." The place does decent food, for a taco bell, but they mess up orders like magic.
For example:
Today's order:
3 hard tacos, 1 grilled steak burrito, and a beef chalupa.
What I got:
2 tacos, 1 grilled chicken burrito, a beef chalupa with the wrong toppings, and beans and rice. I didn't even -order- beans and rice, nor were I charged for them.
But, hey, it's fun.

Date: 2002-07-31 06:28 pm (UTC)Ehehe. Food Roulette. There's a place like that here. I ordered chili cheese fries once, and got.. cheese fries. No chili, even though the guy swore up and down there was chilie. o.o
And another time, me and mom went to mcdonalds, and had to send the bags back FIVE TIMES, before we got what we wanted.. and then halfway home found we had no fries. o.o

Although I've gotten my order correct each and every time, except for the one occaision they forgot a soft taco. Didn't charge me for it, so, eh. Can't send my hubby, he gets too impatient, or his pronunciation isn't clear enough to them. *shrug*

Date: 2002-08-01 01:38 pm (UTC)As I said, this particular one I go to more for amusement than actual nutrition. REAL mexican food, like where the boss took us for lunch today, is at El Canelo, which is run by a family from Cuernavaca. The food is -wonderful-, and surprisingly cheap.
