So I had some extra cash in my pocket thanks to the boss, and getting him his Starscream, and I didn't want to cook tonight, so I went for food.

The thing is, even though the office is going for lunch at the really good mexican place tomorrow, I had a craving.

So I went to the Taco Bell, or "Food Roulette." The place does decent food, for a taco bell, but they mess up orders like magic.

For example:

Today's order:

3 hard tacos, 1 grilled steak burrito, and a beef chalupa.

What I got:

2 tacos, 1 grilled chicken burrito, a beef chalupa with the wrong toppings, and beans and rice. I didn't even -order- beans and rice, nor were I charged for them.

But, hey, it's fun.

Heh. I look at it more as "Maybe they'll give me something as a special bonus prize" or something :)

It all depends where your order lands, m'boy. All depends where your order lands.

Well, my local friends tend to call it Toxic Hell. Mind you, I really used to like their nachos mucho grande and their frito burritos...until they betrayed me and stopped making them. Cossacks.

Nachos Bell Grande!!! I love those. Ours still makes it. We only have one taco bell.

Ehehe. Food Roulette. There's a place like that here. I ordered chili cheese fries once, and got.. cheese fries. No chili, even though the guy swore up and down there was chilie. o.o

And another time, me and mom went to mcdonalds, and had to send the bags back FIVE TIMES, before we got what we wanted.. and then halfway home found we had no fries. o.o

I'll reiterate: "Nachos Mucho Grande."

Yes, you can tell by the smell. Know where you are??? TACO HELL!!!!!!! Excuse me??? You eat and Taco Hell. I get nauseous just thinking about them. Ick!!!!!! Having grown up in ElPaso TX and knowing what Real Mexican food tastes like (Though there are Taco Hells in ElPaso and they seem to thrive Gods know why....)) I avoid Taco Hell like the plague it is.....

Some Taco Hells, believe or not, are actually very, very good. The one nearest my house is GREAT. I wouldn't touch the one that's just five blocks up the street with a twenty-foot pole, though.

Like how they treat your order, Taco Hells come in a variety of goodness. Although I've gotten my order correct each and every time, except for the one occaision they forgot a soft taco. Didn't charge me for it, so, eh. Can't send my hubby, he gets too impatient, or his pronunciation isn't clear enough to them. *shrug*

*shrugs and grins*

As I said, this particular one I go to more for amusement than actual nutrition. REAL mexican food, like where the boss took us for lunch today, is at El Canelo, which is run by a family from Cuernavaca. The food is -wonderful-, and surprisingly cheap.
