The Blue Jackets concluded the exhibition season with a 3-3-2 record

That's .500 hockey (with a couple extra points from OT games) despite shuffling a bunch of AHLers, rookies, and tryouts, and several vets in injured reserve.

We just shut out Nashville's main lineup and beat them decisively, pre-season or not, and did it in their house.

Yes, I think we have hope.

Combine that with the Browns doubling their division win total of last year, yes there is hope, if not of a Stanley Cup.

Though I admit that the lines for Monday's practice (as reported in the dispatch late edition) have me scratching my head...
