From today's Dispatch game summary

Nash tipped in a Rostislav Klesla slap shot at 9:07 of the third period for a 5-3 lead and a little breathing room. Zherdev scored on a wrist shot from the slot and Tollefsen an empty-net goal that caromed off the wall and rolled the length of the ice into the net.

"Did he call that?" Nash wondered.

"Bank shot," Tollefsen said. "All the way."

*snicker*

Well, I guess I should count you in on the O-K T luvfest that's going on...

Unfortunately the same could not be said for MY team. *grumble* (they really need to stay out of the penalty box)

He's one of (if not the only) Norwegians playing at the NHL level. Us viking's gotta stick together. :>

It'd also be nice if Hal Gill could be anywhere -but- caught up ice when the other team gets a breakaway going.

Wasn't Espen Knutsen also Norwegian? Too bad he's no longer in the NHL. ANd I think he was a Jacket too...

As for Gill... I've long wanted to dump him ON HIS HEAD for the stupid plays he makes.

People rag on McCabe, but at least he is USUALLY in the right place at the right time.

Note to JFJ! There was a REASON Kubina and Gill were UFA from their teams! They SUCK.

*sighs* I wonder if the Leafs will ever go on a nice, long win-streak. Several of them this season would be nice. And stop with this "win 1, lose several, win 1, lose several more" crap.

Yes he was, on both counts! Shame he didn't work out as well as Ole-Kristian has.

It'd be really nice to see the Blue and White beat up on some teams.

OTOH, did I hear right that Tlusty is getting a call up...? Maybe that's some change in the wind.

OOoh. Tlusty?! I hope so! I've liked that kid since he was drafted a few years ago!

Although it might be because of the injury bug that seems to have bitten hard and early this year. Wellwood, Colaiacovo (although he's D), Tucker...

Mark Bell's suspension is up soon, and Wellwood is apparently trying to come back too... so who knows.

I want Gill and Kubina gone. Colaiacovo can play in their place on one side when he comes back from rehab. Staffan Kronwall can be his D partner. Or maybe Wozniewski. Either way... hell, even Stralman.

That's what I heard, anyhow!

Hell, the Rangers offense is crap right now. I wonder if they'd trade Prucha or one of their other mid-liners for Kubina or Gill just to shake things up?

Not at the price that Kubina and Gill have for their contracts.

I'd like to get Bouwmeester from Florida but you know there is little chance they'll give him up... He's good D though.

And if they gave up him, Allen, Weiss, and Olesz, I can go back to being "blah" about the team...
