I was feeling -really- good about being off the phones and just getting to mess around with a bunch of projects today until around 4:30, when I found out the India techs who were supposed to be working tickets and handling calls hadn't done a damn thing since 10am.

I've already played an hour of catch up. And I was supposed to get to -leave- at 4. And then I was supposed to leave at 4:30 after I dealt with something that came up as I was getting ready to leave.

I've described my mood in an email to my boss as "Somewhere between disappointed, angry, and "I quit.""

Edit: Fuck it. It'll be as fucked Monday as it is now.

I see they've outsourced incompetence.

I don't even think this was incompetence, considering we had a meeting with them that morning and outlined in very black and white terms what they were supposed to be doing yesterday. I think it's straight up negligence.
