1 lb. hot uncased sausage 1 lb. (16 oz) of shredded sharp cheddar cheese 3 c. of bisquik
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.
Combine ingredients in a food processor (or by hand, but it takes a good while to get it mixed up well), then form into walnut sized balls. Place on a cookie sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes at 400 and serve.
(I usually just go for the full 15 minutes)
The 'dough' keeps just fine in the fridge or freezer if you want to make it up in advance and then cook them just before your party/potluck/whatever.
Heee. Instead I ate dinner, but that would be tempting otherwise. (Minus hitting Phil on the head. Due to my being lactose intolerant and without a gallbladder, I really could only eat a few of these anyway.)
I have a weird aversion to lactaid. I suspect it is the whole white pill thing. (It doesn't have TiO2 in it, but I just... think it should, or something.) And it doesn't help the lack of ability to process that much meat/milk fat, sadly. (I do not miss the gallbladder at all though.)
Yeah, it works well for that, my problems are just... more fundamental. Also I'm irrational.
Does being Asian have something to do with being lactose intolerant? Because if it does, that and my horrible awful flushing upon drinking certain types of alcohol are about to convince me that I am secretly Asian.
Man... when I was in sixth grade I remember thinking I'd be so very much cooler (and better-looking, etc.) if I were Asian. I even came up with an alter ego who was half-Asian (her name was Kirby, thus the username...). I guess I got my sixth grade wish... except only in my digestive tract.
Might want to check out the two articles on the Jacket's in Today's Dispatch. Basically they said "It's time to get on the Bandwagon", and an analysis of the Jackets play.
BTW, I'm on call this week, so I think I'll have to watch my hockey from home. Still hoping to make the game tomorrow though.

Date: 2008-01-26 11:27 pm (UTC)You could always clout Phil over the head, steal the keys, go grab the ingredients from the store, and be snacking mightily before he wakes up.
(Or ask if he wants to go too, but then you'd probably have to share.)
