So, after 4chan found God, it looks like they've decided to take on Scientology.

I'm curious if this will actually work. Certainly the CoS has been -very effective- at dropping attempts by both groups and individuals to expose them as lunatic fascists in the past. But this is different, because they're not trying legal channels or counter-propaganda so much as they're just trying to grief the hell out of them, and it's not like they're giving the CoS a solid face to attach to their counter strikes.

It's a fascinating idea, but I'm really wondering what all Anonymous, et. al. can do. Insult them on the internets? DoS attacks on Scientology websites? Nasty pictures flooding Scientology forums?

I mean, Anonymous and co. is really just an enthusiastic troll. No more, no less.

Still, it's a fun idea. Unless you're a Scientologist, I guess.

Well, if nothing else, they've apparently released a ton of internal scientology media and documents (the stuff the "church" usually fleeces people for several tens of thousands of dollars for.)
