While I'm glad Brassard got his first NHL goal, I'm frustrated by the way this game went. Norrena was -not- solid in goal, and the defense fell back in on itself after they got the 2nd goal.
We're a club that has never made the playoffs, was in a playoff spot at the all star break, and hasn't won a game since the ASG, and rapidly slipping out of the race. The team isn't responding well to ze pressure.
On the upside, my parents don't really know much about hockey. :D
No, actually, he was pretty restrained at the press conference. He was pretty honest about the fact that the flu has been hurting the team, and that the loss of Federov and Modin again has left the younger guys unable to cover.
I think we're at the point where he's giving them some sympathy rather than anger, because anger'd just shut them down more.
Hopefully Tarnstrom will be a shot in the arm, and if not...well, we'll see, I guess.
