Feb. 15th, 2008 08:50 amAfter the pain of Wednesday night, I have to admit it feels a -little- better to see the same Chicago team go into Nashville, probably our 2nd most hated rival, and the team currently in that final playoff spot we hoped so badly to sieze, and beat the Predators even worse than they beat us.

Date: 2008-02-15 02:41 pm (UTC)Oddly enough, we've been better on the road than at home since the ASG...we'll see.
If I could predict Howson comfortably, I'd probably be a lot better off financially. :D Tarnstrom's been a nice addition since he came in, though.

Date: 2008-02-15 07:31 pm (UTC)Yeah, we ought to be angry, they're probably angry, and I predict lots of penalty minutes. But they're playing in Detroit so you know who'll serve most of them.
I hope they play better. Actually, they'd better play better. But I don't know how. All I can do is say that the franchise appears to be well run, and that's a first. I expect they're on TV tonight, so I'll still watch. I heard no excuses from anyone about Wednesday, none at all and the refusal to accept offered excuses from the press. I like that in a team. I think they'll be fine.
Interesting how the paper pointed out how much Hitchcock wants to keep Foote. Yeah, you could get something real for him, but he wants character guys, and I expect that will do well. Think they'll really leave Vborny at first line center tonight like the paper said?
