Mar. 5th, 2008 12:04 pmFor the past several nights, I haven't been sleeping well, but I'd been carrying on regardless hoping to just power through the crud that I was fairly sure to be responsible.
That kinda failed last night when I went from "waking up every few hours but being able to go back to sleep" to "waking up every few hours and needing to cough crap out of my lungs."
After about 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep from 7-11 this morning, I actually do feel a lot better, if heavily congested. I suspect a trip to CVS will occur in the near future.
Because a few people are asking: Not terribly bothered by the Ohio and Texas results...if you look at it, we went into our Primaries with Obama up by over 110 delegates.
After the primaries, Obama is....still leading by 110 delegates. And if the Texas caucuses come out as predicted, it might actually increase to 120.
Hilary's "Ressurection" (according to the AP), was nothing more than forcing a stalemate. I suspect that if the DNC is serious about avoiding a brokered convention, they're going to start leaning on superdelegates to switch over to Obama. That's the only thing propping Clinton up right now, and if she starts losing more of them, I suspect she'll start to buckle.

Date: 2008-03-05 08:24 pm (UTC)Frankly, I'd have stuck to the Jackets game. Yeah they lost but from what I saw they outplayed Calgary except for their goalie, who pretty much won that game by himself. Kiprisoff (sp) earned that shutout.
I liked the way the played and hung together, so found the silver lining.

Date: 2008-03-05 08:52 pm (UTC)I really do like the way they've been playing since the deadline. I don't know if the post-season is going to happen, but I think there's been some serious groundbreaking made.
