Snow's about done, and we still have a roof!



How is this not falling off and hitting me in the head? I don't know! But I'm pretty sure it's SCIENCE!





Alex tried to clear the step off, put one foot in these drifts, and never came back.



After several near disasters, we reached the front yard! The street is even kind of plowed now! Sorta. But it's a start!





Note the plucky lad from the neighborhood down there who is spending his time on tomfoolery instead of offering to shovel our driveway for $10.

For $10 I'd have hired him in a heartbeat. I think my back will be pretty sore tomorrow from all the heavy lifting.

At least I burned off tonight's dinner in advance. Pasta uber alles.

What a hassle. At least it's pretty though. The curves over your roof put me in mind of Dr. Seuss. :)
