If that wasn't the most frustrating loss by the Jackets this year, it was damned close. Watching it in the company of a barful of likeminded people didn't help cushion the blow so much as you'd hope.

Bad news: Anyone who bought a raffle ticket from me did not win the autographed jersey. (Went to someone who works with our Treasurer, which is cool enough.)

Good news: Scott C. and Dave Wyatt - I won a couple of door prizes I think you'll like.

Actually there was this other game called the NIT final, which was one whale of a basketball game and went rather well for my team, so I really only saw the third period. Rome's first goal . . . and then oblivion

Funny story - the Champps that the game watching party was at (the one the Bluejackets organization ASKED US TO HAVE THE PARTY AT ON THIS DATE), "lost" our reservation for the party room to try and get as much seating for the NIT championship game. That was....awkward for a bit.
