Yep, that -totally- looks like it was worth fucking over the Jackets at the deadline.

Part of me hopes that Foote retires now.

Part of me hopes he doesn't, so we can give him 60 minutes of HATE every time he comes to Nationwide.

But, we have our extra draft pick now!

Foote was uninspired the whole series, playing without a contract and all. Well done Howson!

Yeah, I figure his (and I'm -not kidding-), -20 rating in the playoffs was from all that stress and uncertainty.

Minus 20? Minus 20?!

Hockey Jesus on a pogo stick!

He was on the ice for just about every Detroit and Minnesota goal.

My personal favorite was when Zetterberg beat him for a goal, and told an interviewer: "Really, the defense wasn't there - it was just me and the goalie."

-20??? In four games?

I wonder if that number will be used in contract talks!

No, no. That also includes the series against the Wild.

...

He was only -12 against Detroit, including -6 last night.

Also: Jaromir Jagr:Pittsburgh::Adam Foote:Columbus?

I guess the main problem with that analogy is that he didn't lead y'all to any Cups or playoff success. :P

Pretty much - though I suppose you could say that he was very good at sabotaging the playoffs before he left. :D

Let's hope that we can take an even better revenge next year by knocking the Avs out of the playoffs.

-12? I like that. I think that's where rookie Kris Russel ended his season and he can move the puck.

That'd be tasty.

And hey, Russel at least has nowhere to go but up! :D
