I'd like to point out that evading the taxes of a country that has a Navy might not be a good idea. Particularly if they want to do business in said country.

The problem is that all the other ones are being done. That leaves the ocean bases instead. From the looks of it, they're going to build them off the west coast, which moots the flooding twice over.

• Hurricanes are an east-coast thing. The winds are all wrong for that to happen to the west coast. Typhoons hit Asia instead.
• They float along the surface, so even if there's a sudden rise in sea level, they're unaffected.

Besides, they're Libertarian. Which means, 'So conservative they have more in common with hippies than Republicans, like legalizing drugs and building communes.' On the plus side, they're strong defenders of the second amendment, which will come in handy when you're out of Eve and a Big Daddy is coming after you.
