I may have a problem.

I finally scheduled some vacation, per my boss's insistance.

(My last 2 pay periods were 94 hours and 102 hours. This one will probably be around 96 I think. She is (justifiably!) concerned about burnout).

I'm taking 7/7-7/11 off....and that coincides nicely with the summer development / training camp for the Blue Jackets, which will be open to the public at the Ice Haus, from 7/6-7/13 at 9am-2pm each day.

-If- we get the smoker finished soon, that could also be a very good week to get up at 6 in the morning and have some tasty pulled pork and whatnots for dinner, too....

First reaction: Paid vacation while watching the Jacket's training camp is of the good. Especially if it gives time to experiment with the smoker so soon.

Second reaction: Those hours seem oddly low for being burnout risk.

Yeah, each of those is about 2 weeks of time, in which I'm supposed to be doing around 80 hours, so I'm basically running between 2-3 entire days worth of overtime depending on the set.

Admittedly, some late night callouts, the ironport dying, and a couple of "I don't care if you have to run this from home for several hours, just do it" situations are in there. But. Damn.
