It has been a fantastic evening.

After some gentle prodding from mithikall, I decided to come out to Origins to hang out in their LARP tonight (and I want to say I'm booked for tomorrow, too, yes? Perhaps?)

After spending some time shadowing her and her husband, the truly purple famularo, I mostly wandered, sometimes staying close to them and sometimes just checking out what the hell was going on. I don't know how deeply I engaged, but I had a fair bit of fun, and I ended up running into a lot of friends unexpectedly, particularly angeljester (who was quite yay and snuggly), spartanfan (who consumed a truly staggering amount of beer with me as we caught up with everything that's happened in each of our lives since his wedding, and litagemini (who was, as usual, awesome). I drank, I noshed, I wandered, I was snarky to many people who could have easily crushed me to itty bits, I flirted a bit and enjoyed quite a bit of female scenery, and in general? I had a hell of a time.

It's fantastic when a weekend starts like this. It's a bit vulgar, but I think about the only way tonight could have been better would have been if I hooked up with someone. Oh, well. We'll see what happens tomorrow!

Man, that's not vulgar in the least. You couched it in palatable, non-offensive terms.

Sounds like a fantastic time though, and I'm quite jealous. :D

I'm trying to be as tasteful as possible - people expect quality here! (Even if they rarely get it!)

It's been a great day. I'm still freakin' WIRED. I've been home since about 2 and I have no idea how I'm gonna sleep.
